Silchester Village Market
Our wonderful Village Market runs the first Saturday of every month 10am to 12.30pm.
The Silchester Village market has an array of stalls selling everything from artisan bread and home-made bakery items, fresh meat and fish, seasonal produce and plants, locally produced preserves, marmalades, jellies and chutneys, local free range eggs, cheese, mustards and sweet treats.

Silchester Players
Silchester Players, a multi award winning amateur dramatic society, meet at the Hall throughout the year, utilising our wonderful stage performing Plays, Pantomimes and Musical Reviews since 1976.

Silchester Association
The Silchester Association hosts a variety of events at the Hall, with something for all ages to enjoy!
It is a non profit organization run for the benefit of the residents. When needed, and if funds allow, the Association will make donations to other organisations in the village to help them achieve their aims.

Phoenix Club
Our amazing Phoenix Club runs the first Wednesday of every month in the Club Room from 2.00pm to 3.30pm.
With a mix of talks from emergency care planning to The dramatic art of the London Underground, there really is something for everyone and Phoenix Club would love to see you at their meetings.

Our musical Community Choir meets on a Wednesday evening in the Main Hall from 7.30pm to 8.30pm

Messy Play
Jo’s Messy Play meets Tuesday in Main Hall.
A messy play session for under 5s and their parents/carers. There are weekly seasonal themes and lots of changing activities including water, sand, playdough, paint and small world tray. There is a baby corner for younger siblings and we have tea and coffee for grownups and squash/water and biscuits or sometimes cake or fruit for the children.

Let’s Move – Seated Exercise Class
Home Instead host a seated exercise class in the Main Hall every Wednesday morning.
Let’s Move comprises fun, seated, exercise sessions, enabling participants to improve or maintain their mobility and flexibility.
Aimed primarily at the over 70’s, Let’s Move also caters for people living with dementia, Parkinson’s, physical challenges, sensory deprivation, and those recovering from strokes etc, or anyone who just wants to get out of the house and have a laugh with a few like minded souls.
