The trustees have been working on updating the Village Hall charity status as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation and governance document. We are making these changes so that the legal structure and associated documentation will allow us to operate the Hall, in line with the needs of our trustees, residents, and current legislation. Please see the new proposed governance document at our website www.silchestervillagehall.org.uk along with additional information contained in the accompanying resident’s letter. We have distributed a copy of this to the households in the Parish. The resolutions required for the changes will be proposed at the AGM.
